The world, now a day, is seeing a revolution is passing through in the regulatory world. We are living in the age where information is power.  The ongoing changes on the regulatory fronts and new challenges have made it imperative for the legal professionals to well equip with it. GC’s has to play dual role in their organization, on the one side they can’t compromise with the compliances and laws of Land and at the same time they are business enablers also and have to provide solution to management for business. To deliver under this dual role, they require timely interaction with fellow professionals, sharing of experience, updation on recent changes in statutes &the recent trends of industry etc. They also need common platform to represent to Govt. about the professional needs of legal fraternity, to give suggestions on any changes in statutes and to connect each other for their professional needs.
With this background, Alliance for Corporate Counsel and Company Secretaries came into existence in 2009.
